Is the price per person or for the whole boat?

On this page, nearly always the whole boat. A $2,800 full-day charter to Culebra is the vessel, the captain and your group — often up to eight or thirteen people — not a per-head rate. That is what makes the tier worth looking at for a family or a group: split six ways, a private charter can land close to the cost of a shared tour, with none of the schedule.

What is actually included at this price?

It varies by operator, but private charters in this range commonly include the captain and crew, fuel, snorkel gear, and food and drink — several list a BBQ lunch and unlimited rum punch. None of that is standardised, so read the operator’s inclusions on their own booking page before you assume it.

How far ahead should I book a private charter?

Further than a shared tour. There is one of each boat, and the good captains in Fajardo fill weekends and holiday weeks well in advance. If your dates are fixed, check availability early rather than close to the trip.

Do you take a cut of what I pay?

We earn a commission from the operator when you book through us, and it costs you nothing extra — the price is the operator’s own. We do not take payment, hold your reservation or set cancellation terms; all of that is between you and the boat.
