The founders
The About page names co-founders Marianela Mercado and Kenneth Irizarry, professionals in climbing guiding, geology and tourism, AMGA-certified Single Pitch Instructors and licensed by Puerto Rico's Department of Recreation and Sports. The crag sits on Kenneth's family land; a December 2025 press feature describes the walls appearing after María in 2017 and the couple's earlier mobile guiding service, 21 Climb and Tour.
The exact opening year is not published. Across 83 Tripadvisor reviews on the Vega Baja listing we saw 81 Excellent and 2 Very Good; an older listing for their previous Cayey location carries 104 more at 4.9. Reviewers suggest the climbing suits roughly age 10 and up, though the minimum age is 3.

Reviews
Reviewers praise the guides' patience and the setting; the only soft spots are a rushed feel with toddlers on one visit and rain limiting climbing days.
