The school says it teaches in four levels: Into The Wind, Drift & Power, Chasing Wind and The Horizon. A beginner typically needs about 9 to 12 hours of instruction to ride independently, and every student receives an IKO certification to the level they reach.

Before you go
The school says kiting season runs mid-November through August, with 16 to 25 knot trade winds and a 9 to 10 knot minimum for lessons. If conditions are unsuitable it may offer e-foil instead or reschedule.
You need to be able to swim. Children are assessed on age, size, swimming ability and maturity.
